James Parrett's sculptures are a product of his continuing fascination with the aesthetic potential of the circular form. Through the dissection and reconfiguration of radial arcs, new and intriguing possibilities are created, which challenge and defy a viewer's expectations. They also show a gradual evolution in style. Over time self-imposed rules have been broken and new challenges considered.
